Young talent is synonymous with fertile ground—it has all the energy and potential to produce fruit, but only those who invest in its soil can hope to reap returns. We believe Kudzai Sevenzo is not only fertile ground, but she is an emerging artist who has captured hearts all over Africa. She has been blessed as an artist to have had the help of media giants such as MNET, and the popular reality-television show “Project Fame”, to launch her career into an area spanning most of the African continent.

But Kudzai’s preparation for this album began way before her recent exposure. For many years she allowed others to help nurture her singing talent. She grew up as a faithful worker in the children’s ministry of her local church, and she began dreaming a big dream. She developed a gracious manner and temperate disposition that have made her stand out from the crowd. This along with her strong faith in Christ prepared her well for the somewhat capricious world of celebrity-life towards which she now travels.

We recognize that this debut album is just the first step into a new era of Kudzai’s life, indeed a public life. However, we believe to be introducing to you an artist whose career will span many decades, touching many lives with her natural talent and charm.
